Despite record high temperatures this summer, the Farmers’ Almanac website wrote that there will be “quite a few significant winter weather disturbances nationwide”.

According to the publication, Pennsylvania will not be exempt from experiencing the tough winter weather. The Almanac says that eastern Pennsylvania temperatures are supposed to be much colder than normal and the Western part of the state can expect snow and ice storms.

While the Almanac predictions are only correct about 50 percent of the time, Pennsylvanians may want to prepare for a cold, snowy winter.
